RE-TreeWNY

Volunteers desperately needed!! RE-TreeWNY is holding a bare-root tree planting to be held on Saturday, November 7 between 12 pm and 3 pm at the hill on Main and Lasalle Avenue in Buffalo. These trees are very lightweight, easy to handle because they do not have any soil on their roots. No experience is needed and this event will be held rain, shine, or snow. The trees need to be planted regardless of the weather. A very short demonstration will be held prior to the planting of 25 trees. The holes for the trees will be pre-dug by the Olmstead Parks Association or the City of Buffalo which takes most of the effort out of the planting.

Please join us. Remember to dress for the weather, and bring gloves, and clothes and shoes you won't mind getting dirty. We will make every effort to bring refreshments of donuts and coffee. If you can offer to help please contact Patty Ralabate at pralabate@roadrunner.com or 864-1279, or Connie Trask at cmtrask918@gmail.com.
