Alternative Break Program Deadline Extended

The Alternative Break Program has extended the deadline for several of our trips and applications are currently open until October 13th. There are three great locations left to choose from. Each location focuses on a different social issue and partners with local organizations to provide a service to the community.

Alternative breaks are a great way to build leadership skills, meet new people, explore a city, and give back to the local, national and global community.

For detailed descriptions of each trip and the application please visit UBLinked External Site Link Icon or go to the Center for Student Leadership and Community Engagement (CSLCE) page on UB Linked and click on the 2014-15 Alternative Break Application form under the Forms tab.

Contact Rachel DiDomizio at with any questions.

UB The Impact

The UB the Impact Challenge is designed to encourage and reward those students who participate in and track their service hours. Students who demonstrate dedication to service will be honored at a UB the Impact ceremony during Volunteer Appreciation Week each year.

Please visit the UB the Impact page for more information.
